Dungarvan Farmers Market Every Thursday
Dungarvan Farmers Market takes place in Grattan Square every Thurs from 9:30am - 2pm with stalls ranging from organic fruit and vegetables, soups and stews, apples and juices, jams, salads, quiches, traditional baked breads, fresh fish, local honey, free range eggs and pork, gluten free cakes and bread, hot chocolates, organic and fairtrade coffees, farmhouse cheeses, organic beef/lamb, organic eggs and plants.

Award-winning Dungarvan Country Market takes place every Friday from 10.30am to 13.00 hrs. at the Causeway Tennis Club, Abbeyside. The members supply a wide range of goods which include:- fruits and vegetables in season, homemade jams and preserves, a wide variety of freshly baked breads and cakes including bread baked with spelt flour.

At Christmas time Dungarvan is transformed, as the entire community comes together to set Dungarvan Aglow! From late November onwards Dungarvan becomes an enchanted winter haven, as dazzling illuminations cast a warm, cheerful glow from Walton Park in Abbeyside, along the Quayside, to the heart of Dungarvan – the historic Grattan Square. The local community, Council and businesses join forces to put together a month-long festival of events, spectacles and activities to get everyone into the spirit of the season, beginning with the turning on of the Christmas Lights in November and continuing right through Christmas until Janurary.
