The Ardmore Pottery and Craft Shop is located in the quiet seaside village of Ardmore (25kms from Dungarvan Town), in west Waterford. Why not visit this historical village and its equally famous craft shop? Call when you are next in the area. We are located high over the sea looking down on the Pier and Boat Cove. Our aim is to create a pleasant space to show you the best in Irish craftwork, and where shopping is an unexpected pleasure.
Mary Lincoln throws her pots in earthenware clay, and glazes them with a white base glaze. Superimposed on this are simple but attractive decoration. These are usually sponged or speckled in green and blue colours. The distinguishing features of her pots are the extremely thin wall. The other feature is the simple and clear lines of the pot shape and decoration. Ardmore Pottery, by Mary Lincoln is only available in the Ardmore Pottery studio. This pottery is not sold anywhere else. Normally the pots produced, are tableware and functional pots for the home. However, artistic and commissioned pieces are becoming more of a feature of our work.
