Blasta Wholefoods is owned and operated by husband and wife team Rob and Anne Whinnett. Blasta is a busy little store due in part to Dungarvan’s position as a bustling regional centre, the store’s excellent location on Main Street opposite Shaw’s Department Store and our reputation for friendly and helpful service.
As you would expect from the name (Blasta is Irish for tasty), the focus is firmly on food, with literally hundreds of different lines; including organic, Fair Trade and many unusual ingredients that you will not find anywhere else in town. We also offer specialist foods for a wide range of dietary needs including sugar free, wheat free, dairy free, gluten free and low salt etc. We are pleased to offer dietary advice and recipe ideas.
We have a growing range for babies including Ella’s organic baby foods, Weleda & Baby Burt’s toiletries, baby wipes and Moltex nappies.
Vitamin, mineral and supplement products on offer include Solgar, Quest, Higher Nature, Vogel and much, much more. We offer a great range of skin kind natural body care products, including Dr. Hauschka, Green People, Burt’s Bees and Faith in Nature. We have the best range of Ecover and other eco friendly household products in the area – bring your Ecover empties & we’ll refill them for you.
