Curraghmore Estate

The estate has contained the home of the Marquis of Waterford and his ancestors since 1170, includes an arboretum, a bridge built in 1205 and a unique shell grotto built and decorated by the Countess of Tyrone in 1754.

Open: Curraghmore House, Shell House and Gardens: Feb, May to July: 9.00am-1.00pm: Mon-Fri: 1st & 3rd Sundays of May, June, July: 9.00am-1.00pm.

Admission: €15 per person, Shell House & Gardens: May to Sept: Thursdays and Bank Holidays: 1.00am-5.00pm: Admission €5.00 per person.
