The bike rental is an extension of O’ Mahony Cycles, which has been operating in bike rental and sales for over 30 years. Run by two brothers, the sons of the original owner, they’ll be happy to speak English or delighted to speak as Gaeilge to you!
Our bikes are all hybrid bikes, and we can cater for all age categories. Trailers and tag-a-longs, as well as child seats can be attached to the bikes. All bikes are serviced regularly in our bike shop, to ensure maximum comfort for the cyclist. Helmets are included with the bikes free of charge.
We have a call out service in place for our customers, in case of a puncture or break down while cycling the Greenway.
Both owners live locally, so can offer great advice on where to go, eat and stay etc. Whilst our opening hours are 9am to 6pm Monday to Sunday, we understand that the evenings in the summer are long and bright, so there need be no rush to be back for 6 on the dot!
Opening Hours:
Every Day (Monday – Sunday) : 9am to 6pm with late drop-off up to 9:30pm
Late Drop-Off: If you want to hold onto the bike after 6pm just let us know in advance what time suits you to return the bike and we will arrange to meet you at the drop-off point. The cutoff point is 9:30pm on the day of return.
