The location of Camphire International Horse Trials, a world class eventing competition hosted each August, Waterford is also home to Tramore racecourse, stud farms, hunt packs and horse trainers there are also many riding stables in Waterford that you may want to visit on your trip.
A word of warning: a horse-y holiday in Waterford does require some planning- while all centres provide lessons pre-booking is essential. Trekking too should be organized in advance.
