The Getaway is an Eco Camp in Co Waterford, offering Glamping accommodation and Motorhome parking. This small rural site is nestled on the edge of the Comeragh Mountains, yet is just 6km from the thriving, historic port town of Dungarvan and the start of The Waterford Greenway. Whether simply looking for some space to relax or an activity filled break in stunning countryside, The Getaway has all bases covered.
Glamping – Be immersed in nature but from the comfort of your own Self Catering Glamping Cabin. The Cabins are all different and sleep 6, 4 and 2. Each comes with a fully equipped kitchenette, decking terrace & BBQ, toilet / shower room and TV. Bed Linen & Towels.
Motorhomes / Campervans – This intimate site has 12 hardstanding parking bays (9M x 4.5 M) with grass adjacent and Electric Hook Up. There is a central Service Bay area containing a Shower / Toilet Hut, Chemical & Grey Water disposal, Fresh Water and Bins.
NB: We do not take Caravans
The Nook ( Reception / Campers Kitchen & Lounge ) – The Nook is an old stone barn, converted into a Kitchen and Seating area. Its rustic charm creates a great atmosphere for gathering with friends and having some craic.
