Two sets of glazed patio doors spill out through chunky walls onto a sunny partly-paved yard, ideal for sunset barbeques. There is a generous back-from-the-beach wood burning stove for cooler evenings. The delightful double bedroom, full of luxury linen and light, nestles across one end of the upstairs. Noticeably lower windows and curved ceilings lend a cottage feel to this level. There is also a spare bedroom with a pull out bed suitable for a child.
Stewards Cottage –
Stewards Cottage enjoys a secluded position high in the woods in the middle of the Estate. This cottage has ample space for the perfect family holiday but is equally suitable for a romantic getaway. Downstairs there’s a twin bedroom, a cosy sitting room with an open fire and doors leading to a peaceful, secluded garden. The kitchen is fully equipped and has a wood burning stove for chilly evenings. Upstairs the double bedroom is warm and welcoming and decorated in the style of a Victorian cottage. Enjoy the peace, tranquility and birdsong in the garden.
The Hayloft –
This beautifully renovated apartment sits in the heart of the Estate within the farm courtyard. A bright and airy kitchen and dining area is the perfect space for enjoying relaxing meals with family and friends. Leading off the kitchen is the colourful sitting room which has a range of comfortable sofas and chairs, an open fireplace and a huge 75 inch flat screen TV. The Hayloft has three double bedrooms and one twin room – all ensuite. A second snug with a sofa and TV makes the Hayloft a comfortable, spacious property for a family getaway.
Walkers –
Walkers Cottage is an impressive old Georgian country house with space for all the family. The original 19th century house has been extended to include a bright, spacious kitchen and dining room and a family living room with a wood burning stove perfect for cosy nights in. The remainder of the ground floor consists of a large stylish bathroom and a spacious utility room and boot lobby. There are four bedrooms upstairs, one with an ensuite and a second family bathroom complete with dual head shower. Your closest neighbours are a herd of deer and a field of horses!
The Schoolhouse –
Located within a two minute walk of a beautiful sandy cove, The Schoolhouse is a perfect choice for beach loving guests. Originally a schoolhouse (hence the name) this cottage has been extensively renovated and now oozes luxury and charm in equal measure. The original cottage, which was considerably smaller, can still be seen at the front and retains some features such as lattice-leaded windows. Inside the cottage is decorated in an eclectic style and lends itself to a seaside getaway with family and friends. A large kitchen and dining room has double doors to a patio area sheltered beneath an impressive cliff face and perfect for family barbeques. A cosy living room has an open fire and flat screen TV. There are two double bedrooms, one with a double shower ensuite with his-and-her basins and the second bedroom ensuite boasts a free standing tub plus a shower. Stradbally House –
A refurbished 18th century garda barracks, Stradbally House is located right in the heart of Stradbally village overlooking the green. The accommodation which is spread over the first and second floor of this impressive three storey house offers ample space for guests looking to escape to a sleepy, village location within walking distance of a beach with access to a private estate. On the first floor the large kitchen and dining room offer views of both the village green at the front and a large enclosed sunny garden at the back. A cosy sitting room with an open fire also overlooks the village green. On the top floor there are two double bedrooms and a twin bedroom.
